Consistency Kills

Episode 13: Comparison Is The Thief Of Joy

Omar Sitto Episode 13

Today's episode will be about how comparison is the thief of joy.

How can we consistently be aware of the impact comparison has on stealing our joy in all aspects of our life?

Because when we allow comparison of others to dictate how we view our own lives, we enter into a disillusionment of reality that robs us of the joy we have right in front of us.

Comparison acts as a powerful force that compels us to desire more, as we consequently view ourselves as less which has a directly relation to the quality of life we live, the perspectives we have, the standards we uphold and more importantly the value we create in this world on our journey towards becoming the best version of ourselves.

Everyday we have the opportunity to consciously choose who we give the power to in controlling the joy in our life.

The goal is to be aware of how this power is ours to keep or ours give throughout our day in every moment and to be conscious of letting go of compassion so we can live out the joys in our life.
